Dead Master is my favorite Black Rock Shooter character. It was the throne scene that won me over: crossed legs, a scythe across her knees, and a still expression. I used JuJuBit to turn that particular moment into a custom figure. The photo above is the result.
Why I Chose Dead Master on the Throne

I think the seated scene expresses the character more strongly than a fight. Crossed legs, a slight lean, the scythe spanning her knees, and that still face already tell the story through posture. It isn’t easy to find the same arrangement in a ready-made figure. Custom production appealed because I could start with the particular moment I wanted to keep, rather than settle for another pose. I was also curious about the stylistic change. How would the cold presence survive a large head and a short, rounded body? Somewhere between the original menace and the cuteness of Soft Chibi was a result I had begun anticipating as soon as I ordered.
Ordering Process: Starting with a Single Image

The ordering process is simpler than you might think. First, you choose a style on the official website. Options include TRPG, Soft Chibi, Classic Chibi, Anime 1:7, Pixar Style, Mini Pop, and Free Style. The chosen style determines the head-to-body proportions, facial expression, and overall vibe. I picked Soft Chibi because I liked its cute, rounded proportions.

The next step is uploading a reference and any notes. I used a capture of the in-game throne scene. A clear view of the desired pose gives the service a better starting point.

Once you upload the image, the AI generates a character design and gives you a 3D model preview. The 3D generation is based on Tripo AI, and it includes free refinement based on the 2D reference image. As you can see in my history below, even if you do not end up ordering a figure, converting an illustration into a chibi-style 3D model is just fun on its own.
If you like the shape, you select a size, complete the payment, and you are done. The estimated timeline is 8 to 12 business days for production and 7 to 12 days for standard shipping, so it is best to allow about 3 weeks overall.
For a single figure, prices range roughly from 40,000 KRW (about $30) to 240,000 KRW (about $180), though actual costs may vary depending on exchange rates, shipping fees, and taxes or duties. It is also good to remember that the size is measured along the longest dimension of the finished piece, so sitting poses might feel smaller than the listed size.

Unboxing Dead Master: Pose and Colors

The pose was the detail I was happiest to recognize in the finished figure. The direction of the crossed legs and the slope of the scythe were carried across from the throne scene. Those are important because the character would feel different even if the colors were right but the attitude of the pose had changed. The chibi proportions also create difficult overlaps between the arms and the large accessory. Here, the hands and shaft are separated clearly enough to read, instead of merging into an indistinct mass. That care preserves the composition while making it smaller and rounder.

The colors hit the mark for the character perfectly. Key details that define Dead Master—her black dress, white ruffled hem, and green eyes—were all included without missing a beat, and color borders were sharp without bleeding. On the matte resin surface, layer lines typical of 3D printing were barely visible, and her hair even featured a subtle gradient transitioning from dark blue to black.
The Charm of Chibi Simplicity

The teeth along the original scythe and the curled horns have been reduced to simpler curves. My first reaction could have been that details were missing, but the actual figure makes the purpose clearer. Removing intricate decoration leaves rounded shapes that let a threatening villain become unexpectedly cute. That is central to the Soft Chibi interpretation rather than a failed attempt at reproducing the source at scale. It changes the emotional result of the same pose. On the desk, that simplified character is what makes me smile when I look over, instead of requiring every small ornament to remain intact.
If you want every original detail preserved, the Anime 1:7 style would be a better fit. But for keeping Dead Master on my desk to bring a smile to my face whenever I glance at her, this simplicity works better. Even her small bat wings behind her back and short hair remain just enough to keep her instantly recognizable within chibi proportions.
The Shortest Path to Bringing a Favorite Scene to Your Desk

For anyone who wants a figure of a character without official merch or a specific scene close to their heart, JuJuBit offers a surprisingly short route.
To be honest, I tried to create it like the image above at first, but the 3D design just didn’t come out right. I think this service is a great fit for people who want a cute collectible that captures a character’s vibe rather than exact fine-detail replication, as well as those looking for desk decor or a unique gift.
Another style would turn the same scene into a different figure, which already has me considering the next reference. If exact 100% fidelity isn’t your priority, holding a small version of a favorite moment is the service’s strongest appeal.
