Practical Package Design
The package consists of a dedicated sorting tray and a custom outer box. A total of 134 keycaps are securely fixed inside the tray, preventing scratches caused by friction during shipping. Since the keycaps are arranged in the order of the layout, it is extremely convenient to install them onto your housing immediately after opening. The packaging quality definitely gets a passing grade.
Ocean Blue Transparent Design and Frosted Finish
The cool ocean blue PC material features a detailed frosted finish. It is not fully transparent, but rather a translucent texture that looks like a layer of frost. The switch stems and housing shapes are revealed very subtly. The overall injection molding is excellent; there are no burrs on the edges or misaligned legends. Thanks to the transparent material, it diffuses desk lighting or the keyboard’s internal LEDs softly without harsh reflections.
Layout Compatibility and Aula AG60 Installation
With a generous 134-key set, it covers a wide range of layouts from ANSI 60% to 100%. It is compatible not only with standard mechanical switches using MX cross stems but also with magnetic Hall-effect switches. For this test, I installed them on the Aula AG60, a 60% mini layout housing. The mounting force is excellent, and the ocean blue color blends beautifully with the minimalist form factor. Note that these are not compatible with membrane or electrostatic capacitive keyboards.
Low Profile and Solid Typing Feel
They adopt a thin low-profile specification with a height of only 4.75mm. Compared to Cherry profile, the finger travel path is much shorter, making the typing process feel smoother. The most notable feature is the 1.5mm thickness. Usually, transparent keycaps are made thin due to material limitations, which often leads to a hollow sound. LeleLab’s product uses its thickness to suppress case resonance, delivering a solid and refined typing sound.
Real-World Pros and Cons
The Good
Even though they are made of PC material, fingerprints and oils did not easily stick to the surface during my testing. Thanks to the rough frosted finish, they are very easy to maintain during daily use.
The Not-So-Good
The legends use a UV printing method. To protect the printed surface, avoid using organic solvents like alcohol when cleaning. For light stains, wipe gently with a damp, wrung-out cloth.

The LeleLab LowSup Ocean Blue strikes a great balance between the visual appeal of transparent keycaps and the typing feel produced by their substantial thickness.
