I went to Yangjae aT Center looking for things to add to my desk, accompanied by fellow desk-setup and keyboard enthusiasts. I knew two already and met the other three that day, but we quickly found common ground. After searching the 1st and 2nd floors, however, we counted just 7 companies directly serving desk setups.
Be My Object and Illustration Fair Overview
This event was structured with two exhibitions running simultaneously.

For someone arriving with the narrow aim of finding objects and hardware for a desk setup, the main selection felt thin. The wider exhibition clearly leaned toward stationery, diary decoration, and small art objects, leaving fewer of the companies that define the physical desk environment. Still, the 7 relevant brands weren’t interchangeable. Each addressed a different part of the setup, and that gave our group something worth comparing. We moved through them with our own preferences in mind, looking for what each might contribute to the particular gap that had brought us to the show.
Pragmatism Supporting the Body: Rowumo
I somehow missed taking a photo of this one.
It is not an object that instantly catches your eye, but rather a brand focused on the physical condition of people sitting at their desks. Gear aimed at reducing foot fatigue, like 2-tier footrests, forms their core lineup. Soothing the under-desk emptiness that chairs fail to fill with a footrest can be a very practical approach. These are equipment that solidly support the fundamentals behind the flashy surface settings.
Lighting Completing Visual Typing Feel: Moodix
What determines the spatial sense on a desk is the direction and color of light. The product that caught my eye at the Moodix booth was their keyboard and mouse lighting tower, which created a very intuitive and distinct mood. However, since I have already synchronized my studio lighting with the WIZ ecosystem, changing systems comes with limitations. If they enable compatibility with universal interfaces like SignalRGB via future software updates, it looks like it could emerge as a quite attractive alternative for desk setup users.
A Tiny Sea Trapped at Your Fingertips: Sabujak
True to its focus on artisan keycaps, the details in 3D modeling and resin craft stand out. The keycap featuring Nemo swimming inside a transparent resin cube and the palm rest capturing a three-dimensional underwater feel offer high visual satisfaction just as sculptural pieces. It seems sufficient to target the tastes of enthusiasts who focus on look and feel just as much as the typing feedback of a keyboard. If you want to add an eye-catching point to a monotonous achromatic keyboard layout, it is definitely worth checking out. Haha.
Deviation Found in Familiarity: Abko
Abko’s display was different from the gaming-gear atmosphere I’d expected. A framed keycap interpretation of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring stood out, assembled almost like pixel art. After spending so much time with caps as functional components, I liked seeing them as something to look at. The staff also recognized my past reviews, which was a nice moment. I bought the frame for my black desk.
Complete Without Shortages: Orolit Studio
This was the place that kept all of us in our group lingering for quite a while. In a market dominated by plastic and metal, they densely extracted the warm and heavy sensitivity unique to solid wood. I will probably lay down their linoleum desk mat on my desk soon to tidy up the tone. What really caught my attention was the headphone stand displayed as a prototype. If it gets officially released in black walnut material that matches my setup tone, I will open my wallet without hesitation. Anyone who knows how a single stand anchors the center of gravity for an entire setup will appreciate this.
Comfort Provided by Outsourced Taste: All Day Space
Instead of laying out individual items fragmentarily, they propose the entire desk environment as a single package. They set up a bright white setup on one side and a calm black-and-wood combination setup on the other, and the balance between devices felt natural. It was also notable how they naturally integrated proven external equipment like the BenQ ScreenBar and Elgato Stream Deck without looking forced. For those who feel overwhelmed due to a lack of sense in cable management or spatial arrangement, this seems like it could serve as a realistic turnkey consulting outlet.
Self-Powered Storage: QDesk

The area around monitor risers is always prone to clutter with cables and odds and ends. QDesk intuitively solves this headache using metal materials and magnets. It’s a modular system where you attach and detach magnetic shelves and holders wherever you want to expand storage space. If you are the type who cannot stand the sight of messy cords lying around in front of you, you might find immense satisfaction in this magnet-based system that snaps right into place.
Be My Object: Expectations Left by 7 Form Factors

Looking purely at the single explicit goal of desk accessories, the number 7 leaves some things to be desired. However, it was clear that they held items finely tuned toward their respective targets.
Personally, I am most looking forward to the day when Orolit Studio’s black walnut headphone stand is officially released to match my setup, and when Moodix achieves broader software integration compatibility.
There wasn’t a flood of equipment that made me want to rebuild the whole desk immediately. What we found instead was a small set of brands with distinct targets and ideas. That leaves some disappointment about the scale of the event for this interest, but also something to follow after the visit. I want to see how those companies use the feedback from people on the floor and what forms the next products take. The prospective headphone stand and wider lighting integration are the possibilities that stay with me most, rather than a single finished setup I could take away.
Everyone in our group had a channel business card to hand out, and I found myself a little envious. I may spend the weekend making my own. Since getting home, I’ve been sketching ideas; does this direction look right?
